
Be the legacy. This came about as I was shipping for a client that I come across this T-shirt at Foschini with “Become the legacy” printed on it. That on its own got me thinking of when someone leaves you something when they have passed on. When I check the side printing, I see the “466-64” now we all know that’s associated with Nelson Mandela. The second time he was imprisoned at Robben Island in 1964 he was the 466th prisoner that year. His prison number remained 466/64 until 1982 so Prisoner 466-64 continues to be used as a reverential title for him. I knew there and then I had to have this t-shirt which only costs R150. I paired it with high wasted white jeans from Mr. Price and white Chuck Taylor all stars low tops. Afro hairpins from Cotton On. Remember this quote, “simplicity is the ultimate sophistication” 👌🏽.

Have you ever thought of the legacy you leave with people just after you have met with them? I would like to believe that legacy is not only what we are left with when a loved one passes on to the afterlife, however, we are always given a chance every time to leave a legacy everywhere. What do people remember you for when they think of you? Are we pleasant beings that leave others feeling great about themselves after we have had an encounter with them?
