  • If only you had the grit to be your awesome self
awesome enough. somebody.
We are all awesome. Stop trying to be somebody’s awesome.

Have you ever asked yourself if you are awesome enough, hmm somebody? You know, this is a question I wonder if people ever ask themselves. Most of us want to be alive in our lives however we lack the grit. The world is forever changing and there is so much to catch up on and the reality of life is that time waits for no man. So, when last did you ask yourself how awesome you are?

Have you given up on your sexy?

Most of us live life as it comes. We have a “we will see what happens” mindset and I wonder if that mindset has produced the lives we want. We have become frugal with our gifts and talents as if we will live long enough to live in our gifts. The need to postpone executing the plans that will lead us to find our awesomeness tires the soul. I refer to this as a need because we naturally embrace needs first before wants. So, if we embrace postponing ourselves to our latter days, that could mean we need a postponement. How many times have you postponed on yourself? Come on now, don’t you want to stare at your life in admiration? I believe you and I can do that; we just need to bail out on postponing on our lives.

Who is responsible for our awesomeness?

Do you also fish for compliments when you know and maybe think you look super amazing and you just want somebody to confirm that? I mean, we all want to be appreciated and told sweet nothings, but what happens when we are not complimented on a job well-done or our outfits. How do we still maintain the confidence we had prior? We need to look at what brings us comfort and joy. What brings you comfort and joy? We must be honest with ourselves when we answer this question because there lies the source of where we get our awesomeness.

Oh NO, you got busted!

Introspection helps us to be better people when is it done correctly. Introspection helps us face the things we otherwise would not have been aware of ourselves. We each must be aware of the people we are and what makes us, the people we are. What beliefs we hold close to ourselves and if these beliefs are working for us. Sometimes introspection can bring to us the sad truths we are not ready for. When we find those sad truths that we do not like, we must look at ourselves in the mirror and say these words “You got busted” and work on fixing what we need to fix and if we see the need to fix it. Is it alright to go around saying, “Oh but I am like that, my family and friends know this” instead of making ourselves better? But then again, my better is different from your better.

Do you believe that you are awesome enough?

Do you know where your awesomeness is hidden? You must always be at the peak of your life every day of your life. Be at the peak of your life even when you have no money in your account. I know, it is easier said than done, however when you are at the peak of your life, you become a solution magnet and you will always find ways to maintain being at the peak of your life.
