Chronicles of life coaching

I thought I should share with you again about life coaching and what we aim to achieve through the i-am-mzimba blog.  

Life coaching is quite recent however the concept of helping others to appreciate their inner strengths and overcome whatever obstacle and to live to their full potential is an ancient practice.

At the core of congruent life coaching is the belief and an understanding that every person can be able to do and have anything one desires. You and I need to believe that we can do and have anything we desire.

You an I are unique individuals with different gifts and color sparks, however, we still share one very powerful and common attribute and that is the ability to create our reality through our thoughts, intentions, beliefs, and actions, and thus, this means at any point in our lives you and I can create a new reality for ourselves.

So, what exactly is life coaching about?

It’s a solution-focused technique for personal development (looks at the bigger picture) aimed at helping anyone willing to make very positive and lasting changes in their lives.

In life coaching, individuals are encouraged to uncover and realize their true self by using techniques and tools that will uncover and eliminate limiting, obstructive or distractive thoughts (thought life) and behavioral patterns in their lives.

The life coach facilitates this change using effective tools and techniques to empower their coachees, in a caring, supportive and inspiring environment.

A life coach is there to guide and inspire the client to bring about a clearer understanding of their aspirations, goals and life purpose and to effect the necessary changes in their current and future behavior to ensure the realization of those goals and aspirations.

Human nature being what it is, with the motivation, support and caring that a good life coach can provide, most people are capable of achieving far more and leading more fulfilling lives than they would if left to their own devices!

Because you and I as individuals have all the answers within ourselves. Everything we ever hope to be is in us. 

Without you, there is no you.

Coaching looks at where we are and where do we hope and want to be.
