The character of a pair of shoes

Throw back Thursday looks at One pair of shoes, 5 different outfits! Hmmm one shoe, 5 different looks? Really? Aha, yeah. My love for shoes is nothing new. Ever since I started working 15 year ago, all I would do is buy shoes and more shoes whenever I got my salary. This specific shoe I fell in love with the day I saw them worn by Kim Kardashian. Yup, I follow her. The black unBout Pumps. My love was so deep that I ended up even owning a Neon patent leather pair. When I finally owned them the love was deeper as I could wear them in so many different ways. I bought my black pair from YDE and have been loving them to date.

So what is the phenomenon about wearing the same pair of shoes with different  outfits? I think we all do that  all the time and we do not even realise an important factor to this daily activity that we do. If you can wear the same pair of shoes with different outfits, why do you then allow yourself to be boxed? Why do you allow yourself to be monotone? There’s surely more to what you see in the mirror than what you have allowed yourself to be. Have you considered what your other capabilities are?

The challenge with being monotone is that we end up being too comfortable and in most cases we fail to adapt to change and thus eliminate the possibility of personal grown and creativity to flow within us.

So if you ask me, adopt the character of my shoes and try out different looks. Yeah, I know and believe that there is more to you that what you have become comfortable with.
